Allars Bank Apartment

Positive: Beautiful location just off Hawick High St. Lovely comfortable apartment. New timed heating system installed with instant hot water. New Eco shower in place which is easy to use. Very comfortable double bed & Sofa bed available in the Lounge. Good fridge/freezer & excellent electric cooker. Plenty of space for your clothes, bags/cases etc. Internet TV's in lounge & bedroom. Timed Gas radiators efficient in all rooms. What's not to like- so comfortable!

Positive: Layout, location, and price. Negative: The shower fuse kept tripping, so there was no water to the shower. Had to make do with sponge baths.

Positive: Location right in the centre of hawick.quiet area.plenty of free parking. road just opposite the appartment then a big carpark on the right.comfortable bed.plenty of heating if needed.shower good.very clean property.Bath towels included and bed linen.Bed all made up ready for you. Negative: Still need some comfortable chairs in lounge. or a 2 seater wicker settee.bean bag chairs not appropriate as you can.t get down or up if your not able bodied.

Positive: Great location, very short walk from everything you could need. It's comfortable for a short stay. Staff are wonderful, they kindly provided an iron upon request which really shows how above and beyond they will go to make the stay the best it can be. Negative: The cleanliness of the apartment was a bit surprising, it was definitely not clean when I arrived. I went over with the hoover and mop after arrival and checked the bedding. I understand pets are allowed and hair gets everywhere but I don't own pets so seeing hair and dirt on the sheets and bedding was concerning. All small things I was able to sort myself as a seasoned traveller but definitely something the staff will need to double check when it comes to bed bugs and fleas.
